What does S&C work on?
Muscular Strength and Endurance - utilise resistance to help maintain and build muscle mass to improve functional capacity and reduce the risk of injury.
Cardiovascular Fitness - aerobic training or interval training to improve the efficiency of the heart and lungs.
Mobility and Flexibility - stretching and mobility exercises to maintain or improve range of motion, reduce stiffness and prevent injury.
Core Strength and Stability - strengthen the muscles of the trunk to help improve posture and balance, and reduce back pain.
Neuromuscular Coordination - train the nervous system to work efficiently with the muscles. This will help improve coordination, reaction time and balance.
